The photo is opened, covered, and saved entirely inside your browser. It never touches a server.
Metadata is dropped
The file is written from scratch, so GPS coordinates, camera details and timestamps do not come with it.
Checked afterwards
The finished photo is looked at again. Anything missed is covered again, wider.
